Well Halloween has come and gone and thelast few days have been heavy going.; I am looking forward to putting my feet up for a few days. All this socialising and enjoying myself is taking its toll!

During the week we won the league title in the Hua Hin Pool League. It is actually a fairly big achievement so of course we had to go out and celebrate! Also, there was Halloween itself and add in a few funerals and wakes – then it makes for some heavy going.

Last night was by far the best night – i stayed in and watched TV!! Jeez, I must be getting old when I start to enjoy that more than heading out!

The move to Hua Hin is still on. HAve signed a deal with the new landlady and she is making some small changes first – new curtains, new furniture etc PLus, I will eventually have broadband in my home.; Oh how I miss it!

I reckon I will stay a few months in Hua Hin to check it out. THere could be some good opportunities there – definitely more than whats going on in CHa-am. I reckon in a few years, Cha-am will catch up but it just isnt there yet. Hua Hin on the other hand is positively booming – maybe too fast! They have to be careful not to stretch the infractructure too much – otherwise it will just be another tourist hotspot with all the dodgy elements that go with it.;

Also, I notice more and more “funny” girls around Hua Hin- way more than before – and there seems to be many more younger farangs making Hua Hin their home. just hope it doesnt get out of control.One of the attractions of Hua Hin was that the nightlife was more reserved than the other tourist hot spots – although not so anymore! You can drink 24hours in Hua Hin!

I aint sure what my plans are for Christmas – looks like I could be staying put.If I can get some kind of business going here it would be great but the odds are stacked up against me.

One of the options is to do some land development but to be honest – nearly everyone in Hua Hin is doing this. You would really have to distinguish yourself by doing something very different for people to be interested – there is just too much on offer!

Of course, I could do a lot more work on the Net and thats what my focus will be when I get my broadband.

United had a bad result midweek – think they just took it for granted but luckily enough we are still in control! Maybe that result will wake them up!

Fair play to Harrington on the ORder of Merit too……… not since Ronan Rafferty!; Fair play!

Thats all for now!
